Can you buy Indy 500 tickets at the gate?
NOTE: You can buy Indy 500 infield general admission tickets at the gate; you do NOT have to pre-order these. When you order tickets, you select several seat preferences. The Speedway will try to get you what you want, but generally all the best stands are sold out shortly after the previous year’s race.
Can you attend the Indy 500?
Fans will be allowed to attend all days where cars are on-track during May at IMS. Those attending the road course race will have reserved seating, and all days will be limited to the same race day capacity limits, though those have traditionally not been reached.
Where is the best place to sit at the Indy 500?
Best Seats: Near the start/finish line is ideal, and unlike most sporting events, higher is better. The outside of the track has the best views of Pit Row, where a lot of the strategy affecting the race outcome takes place, so its slightly preferable to the same seats on the inside.
