Here is the basic approach to a corner:
Place your kart on the outside of the track, staying on the gas. Ease onto the brake firmly staying in a straight line (this is called threshold braking) Come off the break and ease back onto the throttle as you start your turn in. Aim for the inside edge of the track on entry.
